Sadly probate disputes are all-too-common in law. Problems arise after an individual dies and troubling matters come to light. For example, it may be that an individual made a will without fully understanding its consequences, or failed to execute it properly - meaning the will is invalid. Problems frequently arise when an original will goes missing, meaning that action has to be taken.

In other cases, a will may make inadequate provision for a spouse, partner, child or even for someone who, prior to the individual’s death, was being wholly or partly looked after by the person who died. In such situations, the bereaved may need to make a claim against the deceased’s estate.
