Probate and Trust Disputes

Sadly probate disputes are all-too-common in law. Problems arise after an individual dies and troubling matters come to light.  For example, it may be that an individual made a will without fully understanding its consequences, or failed to execute it properly – meaning the will is invalid.  Problems frequently arise when an original will goes missing, meaning that action has to be taken.

In other cases, a will may make inadequate provision for a spouse, partner, child or even for someone who, prior to the individual’s death, was being wholly or partly looked after by the person who died.  In such situations, the bereaved may need to make a claim against the deceased’s estate.

Probate disputes can be complex and far-ranging. They are often very emotional.  Hibberts solicitors have knowledge and experience of the issues and we aim to deal with disputes calmly, efficiently and sensitively.

What our clients say:

  • Jonathan Manning – Client Feedback

“You provided a first class service and kept me informed throughout. You took away the stress and provided re-assurance.”

  • Rachael Swindells – Client Feedback

Martyn is fantastic – organised and gets the job done. We would highly recommend Hibberts, 2 House Sales and a purchase later and our solicitors have given us first class service. We would never use anyone else. Thank you!

  • Gemma Worthington Feedback

I was completely at ease during my visits and, furthermore, I was allowed to bring along my dog, Diggle, who suffers from abandonment anxiety, and that fact alone was much appreciated.

  • Martyn Measures Client Feedback

Having just gone through the trauma of selling my home and purchase of a new house, I needed the kind, friendly but firm insistence of what to do next. My thanks to all concerned.

  • Sarah Sharp Client Feedback

Handled professionally and efficiently. See more feedback from our clients.
