Hibberts Solicitors also offer a fixed fee employment law service for new clients to make it easier and more cost effective to gain some initial employment law advice, without committing to a full service. This fixed fee appointment can be appropriate for many areas of employment law where you may need advice promptly upon a specific issue or question. Some examples of recent topics include general advice about grievances, redundancy, holiday pay and notice periods.

The fixed fee service includes an appointment of up to 45 minutes by telephone or video call with a qualified specialist employment law solicitor with over 10 years’ experience. Following the consultation, the client will also receive a written summary of the key points of the discussion and advice given.

There is no obligation to take the matter further, but of course if the client wishes to instruct us to carry out additional work then future costs will be discussed at that point. The initial consultation is offered at a fixed fee of £150 +VAT, payable in advance of the appointment.

The service is available for both businesses and individuals at the same cost.
