This Accreditation is the quality mark for legal professionals working in family and children law, particularly those who represent children.

The Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation covers all types of children law work such as adopting a child, your rights to see your children, child custody issues and the legal rights of children. Tony has shown that he has achieved the required level of competence and knowledge, as defined by the Law Society in the area of children law and the representation of children. To become accredited, legal practitioners have to undergo a rigorous process, which includes mandatory training and an interview assessment in front of a panel of experts.

This Accreditation is only available to solicitors who can demonstrate that they possess the required level of competence and knowledge in legal matters relating to children. It is a means of identification for professionals such as Guardian’s to identify suitably qualified solicitors when representation of a child is required.
