Hibberts are recruiting for a Conveyancing Paralegal / Assistant to help support the growing Residential Property Team, based in Tarporley, Cheshire. Prior relevant experience is preferable.
This position presents a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience within an established residential property team. It is ideally suited to candidates seeking to accrue qualifying hours toward their progression as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, keen to develop new skills and be comfortable working independently, on their own initiative and producing high quality work. Applications demonstrating previous residential property experience is desirable.
Main Duties
- Providing accurate quotations to prospective clients and efficiently processing new enquiries, ensuring a smooth and professional initial experience for those seeking conveyancing services;
- Supporting and processing file opening & compliance procedures;
- Assisting with the preparation of contracts and transfers, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately compiled and ready for review as part of the conveyancing process;
- Responding promptly and professionally to questions from clients, other solicitors and third parties, ensuring all information provided is accurate and supports the smooth progression of each conveyancing transaction;
- Processing Land Registry enquiries and applications;
- Requesting Searches (and learning to interpret the results);
- Supporting pre and post-Completion preparation;
- Supporting fee earners with client attendances;
- Preparation of Invoices and Completion Statements;
- Preparation of Reports on Title.
