We are looking for a Private Client Paralegal or Junior Fee Earner to join our Tarporley office. This role would suit someone with Private Client experience who is confident drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney, managing client contact and progressing files efficiently. The position will involve running wills and LPA matters effectively from initial instructions through to completion, with support available from experienced colleagues where needed.
What You’ll Be Involved In
- Draft wills and lasting powers of attorney accurately and efficiently, tailored to each client’s instructions.
- Run wills and LPA files effectively from initial enquiry and instructions through to completion.
- Meet and speak with clients in a professional, sensitive and reassuring manner, ensuring they are kept informed throughout their matter.
- Prepare correspondence, attendance notes and file documentation with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage file administration, key dates and matter progression in line with the firm’s procedures and client care standards.
About You:
- Previous experience in a legal support, paralegal or junior fee earning role, ideally within Private Client.
- Confident drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney, or ready to develop this further with appropriate support.
- Able to run files effectively, keep matters moving and maintain accurate records and client communication.
- Good written communication skills, strong organisation and a careful, methodical approach to drafting and file management.
- A calm and approachable manner, with the ability to deal sensitively with clients and families.
- A willingness to take responsibility and develop confidence within a supportive Private Client environment.
