Carolyn originally studied psychology at the University of Liverpool with the aim of becoming after studying for 3 years and obtaining a 2.1 BSc degree then chose to pursue a career in law.
After completing her graduate diploma and legal practice course at the College of Law in Christleton, Carolyn joined Hibberts as a trainee. Whilst she originally set out to work within Family Law, Carolyn’s training saw her make a move towards Company and Commercial Law.
Carolyn qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and in 2014 was made a Partner at Hibberts LLP, becoming the Head of the Company and Commercial Department.
As a commercial law solicitor, Carolyn enjoys the intricacies of commercial contracts as well as researching and reviewing corporate procedure. She has vast experience in acting for both sellers and buyers of companies, whether it be a share sale or a business asset sale. She works closely with local accountants to achieve the most efficient results for her clients.
Having also developed skills within commercial property, Carolyn provides a whole range of legal services to her clients reducing the need for referral. This enables her to develop a thorough understanding of client businesses and provide bespoke commercial advice according to their legal needs.
Outside of work Carolyn enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dogs. She is also an avid gym fan and enjoys taking part in obstacle course races.
