Hibberts make a splash at Overwater RNLI Festival & Raft Race

It was a case of sink and swim recently for Hibberts Solicitors when we entered two teams into the Overwater RNLI Festival & Raft Race at Audlem.

While one of our raft teams consisting of firm partners Camille Renaudon, Chris Boundy and fellow team mates Tom Bailey and Alison Beardmore stormed the field to take a respectable sixth place, our second team piloted by managing partner Stewart Bailey with firm partner Carolyn Brooksbank, solicitor John Gibbons and son Eddie Gibbons ended up in the drink after springing a leak!

This is not the first time Hibberts have supported this popular two-day event which includes a Saturday night concert, dog show and stalls and raises much needed funds for the lifesaving charity.

The RNLI are well known for operating volunteer lifeboat crews who provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland, but the charity now also provides seasonal lifeguards on busy beaches and a Flood Rescue Team to support people affected by flooding.
